Echo Global Logistics Carrier Management

The Problem

Echo's fragmented carrier management system forced users to rely on multiple tools and manual processes.

The Solution

I designed a unified carrier management system that consolidated critical data and automated manual workflows.

Key Features

A closer look at the solutions that improved efficiency and user satisfaction.

Summary Dashboard

Contacts & Address Management

Contacts & Address Management

Centralized system with role tagging, note taking, and categorized addresses, eliminating external tool reliance.

Load History & Performance

Interactive view of completed shipments with performance metrics and service trends, enabling informed capacity matching decisions.

Compliance Management

Compliance Management

Automated workflows with dynamic status indicators and exception flagging, reducing manual effort and mitigating operational risks.

The Impact

The unified carrier management system transformed how teams maintained carrier relationships and managed operational workflows.

The new design eliminated the need for users to jump between multiple systems and manual processes. By consolidating carrier contacts, addresses, load history, and compliance data into a single interface, teams could now manage carrier relationships efficiently and make informed capacity decisions in real time.

Automated compliance workflows reduced manual exceptions handling, while dynamic profiles and integrated service area data improved load matching accuracy. What was once a fragmented, time consuming process became a streamlined system that empowered teams to focus on strategic partnerships rather than administrative tasks.
