I've spent 10+ years designing for complex systems, the kind where people are juggling multiple platforms, every workflow has dependencies, and one bad decision can create real operational cost. My background in psychology is basically the lens I design through, it helps shape how I approach research and user behavior.

I cover the whole design process, from research and strategy through execution. But I'm just as into the unglamorous stuff, like documentation, clear handoffs, reusable patterns, and making sure research actually shapes what gets built. My time teaching sharpened how I think about communication, feedback, and making complex ideas easy to follow, especially after I started building my own challenges and workshops on top of the assigned curriculum to help students upskill faster than the program alone would. I also lean on AI tools for research synthesis and rapid prototyping.

Outside of design, I'm building bikes, restoring vintage drum machines, or reading movie scripts for story structure. Staying curious keeps me open to worlds outside UX.
